First Wednesday of the Month: Fellowship Meal in the Auditorium at 5:30 pm -- Missions Encounter in the Auditorium at 6:15 pm -- One-on-One with the missionary speaker(s) in the Rotunda at 6:45 pm. Our next Missions Encounter is Wednesday, August 6 - we will be hearing from Jared and Holly Carter, who serve with Athletes in Action on campuses throughout the Dallas area.

We will be studying the book of Habakkuk in Women's Fall Bible Study! Thursdays at 9:30 am and at 6:45 pm, beginning August 14. Habakkuk was a prophet who looked around at the broken world he lived in and wondered, Where is God? He forgot that God was in control. How is it, then, that he is now a shining example of how the righteous live by faith? Through his story, we can learn how the storms of life can become opportunities to activate our faith. Through Scripture reading, prayer, and meditation you'll gain freedom to express your fear and frustration to God, remember that God is always at work, and increase your capacity to practice the art of waiting on Him.
